That looked a little weird to me, but on several occasions I recommended to check whether > Preferences > Advanced options > Block traffic from reserved addresses on public interfaces was unticked in Firestarter. When ticked, this prevents updates/upgrades.

‘got the same problem and i confirm that this solution works for me. This is the only one i found better than disabling firestarter service to update the system.
